1、Exhibition Introduction

The Western (Chengdu) Seed Industry Expo (CSE), based in the core agricultural production areas of Sichuan and Chongqing, uses regional collaborative development as a link to reach major agricultural towns in Shaanxi, Gansu, and Ningxia, radiating across the national agricultural market. With the theme of "Green Agriculture, Technology-Driven Agriculture, and Brand-Strengthened Agriculture," the expo aligns with the new trends in agricultural modernization, widely showcasing high-quality domestic and international seed sources, cutting-edge breeding technologies, and innovative achievements. It establishes a collaborative and win-win platform for producers, distributors, end-users, research institutions, and industry associations. By strengthening the closed-loop linkage mechanism across the upstream and downstream of the industry chain, it effectively reduces market expansion costs for exhibitors and product selection costs for professional buyers, accelerates the efficient transformation and application of seed industry scientific and technological achievements, and helps improve the quality and efficiency of agriculture in western China.

2、Review of the previous session

The 3rd Western China (Chengdu) Seed Industry Expo (CSE2025) was successfully held from May 16-17, 2025 at the Western China International Expo City in Chengdu. As a benchmark annual event in the western seed industry, it attracted over 300 globally renowned seed companies and received nearly 20,000 professional visitors from Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan, and Shaanxi provinces and cities, with an exhibition area exceeding 20,000 square meters. The expo focused on "whole industry chain collaboration," covering field seeds, fruit and vegetable seedlings, flower seeds, forage seeds, seedlings and supporting processing equipment, cold chain logistics technology, etc., showcasing hybrid rice, high-quality fruits and vegetables, and other specialty varieties and cutting-edge breeding achievements. On-site supply and demand matching was efficient, with frequent direct orders between planting enterprises, cooperatives, and seed companies, creating a vibrant trade atmosphere. The "Smart Agriculture Assisting Industry Quality Upgrading Forum and Blueberry Industry Development Conference" was held concurrently, bringing together government leaders, experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives. The "Berry Industry Development Special Committee" established during the forum laid a solid foundation for the integration and quality improvement of specialty industry resources. The number of exhibitors at CSE2025 met the required standards, and the customer satisfaction rate reached 90%, further expanding the exhibition's influence and industry penetration, and effectively promoting the transformation of seed industry scientific and technological achievements and active trade cooperation.

3、This year's planning

CSE2026 will be grandly held at the Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, from May 30-31, 2026. Building on the fruitful achievements of previous editions, this year's exhibition will comprehensively upgrade its scale and service quality, inviting high-quality exhibitors from home and abroad with a more open attitude, and precisely targeting a high-quality buyer group covering the entire industry chain. 四、Market Background

Sichuan, a major grain and cash crop producing area in western China, is known as the "Land of Abundance." The planting area of cash crops such as vegetables, fruits, and tea ranks among the top in the country, especially in late-maturing citrus, Sichuan pepper, kiwifruit, tea, and medicinal herbs, where yields are very high. Sichuan is also one of my country's three major seed breeding bases, with its hybrid rapeseed, hybrid rice, and potato seed production areas ranking among the top three in the country.

Chongqing's main grain crops include corn, rice, wheat, and miscellaneous grains. Cash crops include citrus fruits, medicinal herbs, fruits and vegetables, peanuts, rapeseed, tobacco, and tea. Forest products include tung oil, silkworms, and chestnuts. Chongqing ranks first in the country in tung oil production, second in raw lacquer production, and third in citrus production. Fengjie navel oranges are renowned throughout China.

As the core hinterland of western agriculture, Sichuan and Chongqing are experiencing a surge in demand for high-yield, high-quality, and stress-resistant varieties due to large-scale planting driving the seed industry towards precision and specialization. However, issues such as the homogenization of specialty crop varieties and low conversion rates of breeding technologies within the region urgently need to be addressed. 八、Exhibition Procedures

★ Participating companies should fill out the "Participation Application Form" in detail, affix their official seal, and fax it to the organizing committee. Fees should be transferred to the organizing committee's account within five days.

★  No organization or individual may bring counterfeit, substandard, or infringing products to the exhibition; otherwise, the organizing committee has the right to disqualify them from participating.

★  To maintain the overall image of the conference, the organizing committee reserves the right to make final adjustments to some booth arrangements;
