To deepen exchanges and cooperation between China and Southeast Asian countries in the field of agricultural science and technology, the organizing committee of the China (Yunnan Kunming) Agricultural Science and Technology Expo will participate in the "Cambodia 2025 Agricultural Forum and Exhibition (CAFE25)" and the concurrent "Cambodia Agricultural Trade and Investment Exhibition (CATIE25)" held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia from November 13 to 16, 2025, to carry out publicity and promotion and invite international buyers.

During the exhibition, the organizing committee set up a dedicated booth to fully showcase the exhibition plan and core highlights of the 23rd China (Yunnan Kunming) Agricultural Science and Technology Expo, to be held in Kunming in August 2026. The organizing committee focused on connecting with local Cambodian traders, industry associations, and large-scale planting enterprises in the fields of agricultural inputs, seeds, and agricultural machinery, accurately identifying cooperation needs and deepening bilateral interaction. More than 5,000 exhibition materials and invitations were distributed on-site, providing Cambodian partners with clear and efficient guidance for participation.

The China (Yunnan Kunming) Agricultural Science and Technology Expo is one of the most influential industry events in China's modern agricultural science and technology field. Having been successfully held 22 times to date, it is considered a "weathervane for the development of modern agricultural science and technology in China." The 2026 expo is expected to cover an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters, bringing together more than 1,800 high-quality domestic and international companies to showcase products across the entire agricultural industry chain, including pesticides, fertilizers, seeds, agricultural machinery, and water-saving irrigation equipment. It is projected to attract 120,000 professional visitors.

Yunnan Province, as an important gateway to South Asia and Southeast Asia and a base for plateau-characteristic agriculture, plays an indispensable role in promoting regional agricultural cooperation. Kunming City, with its superior transportation conditions, well-developed convention and exhibition facilities, and open and inclusive business environment, provides an ideal platform for international agricultural trade and economic exchanges.

This trip to Cambodia not only facilitated effective cross-border promotion and resource matching, but also laid a solid foundation of business partners for the 2026 China (Yunnan Kunming) Agricultural Science and Technology Expo. The organizing committee sincerely invites traders, planting enterprises, and industry association representatives from Cambodia in the fields of agricultural inputs, seeds, and agricultural machinery to gather in Kunming next August to jointly celebrate this grand event and create a new era of regional cooperation.
